This briefing is designed to provide Senior Managers with a legal overview of key health and safety legislation and to ensure that they are fully aware of their legal and moral obligations with regard to Health and Safety in their organizations.
Senior Management Training Programme – 2 days
This course is designed to make Senior Managers fully aware of their legal and moral obligations with regard to Health and Safety within their organizations and to transfer knowledge about health and safety to Senior Managers so they can direct and manage it effectively at their own workplaces.
Line Management Health and Safety Training – 1 day
This course is designed to de-mystify health and safety and to provide Line Managers with a good understanding of the key principles of health and safety management and how to manage it.
Safety Representative Training Programme – 2 days
This course is designed to educate and equip newly elected and established Safety Representatives to understand their role, their legal rights and how to act effectively in representing the health, safety and welfare concerns of those they represent.
Safety Committee Training Programme – 1 day
This course will equip participants with the skills and knowledge to operate as an effective Safety Committee in their organisation, effectively acting as a conduit for information and representation within the company.
Personal Safety Training Programme – 1 day
This course is designed to raise awareness among those who either work alone or manage employees who work alone. It will equip them with the tools to plan, risk assess and protect those required to work alone.
Preventing & Managing Stress Training Programme – 1 day
This course is designed to educate and enable Managers to prevent, identify and manage stress in their organisations and to allow for stress prevention and to be mainstreamed into the general management of the organisation.
Safety Awareness for Employees – half of one day
This course is designed to provide employees with a basic knowledge of Health and Safety an its implications for them in their working environment
Fire Safety Awareness for Employees – half of one day
This course is designed to provide employees with an understanding of Fire legislation, chemistry of fire, how fires start, how to prevent them and action to be taken on discovering a fire.
Accident Investigation Training – 1 day
This course is designed to provide employees with an understanding of how and why accidents are investigated, how to identify the contributory factors in accident causation and the negative effects of accidents in the workplace.
Ergonomics Training – 1 day
This course is designed to provide employees with an understanding of ergonomics, structure and function of body, movement direction normal v damaging, key factors affecting good ergonomics in the workplace.
Chemical Safety Training – half of one day
This course is designed to provide employees with an understanding of what chemicals are, how they can impact on the human body, the importance of labelling and containers, how to use them safely and deal with spillages.
Risk Assessment Workshop – 1 day
This course is designed to provide employees with an understanding of hazards, risk, risk assessment, control measures and preventative approaches to work activity.
Specific Regulations Training (e.g. Work at Height, Construction, Noise etc.)
Specific workshops can be delivered dealing with specific regulations to meet the client’s needs.
Please Note:
Training can be delivered nationwide, morning, afternoon or evening to suit the client.
Appropriate handouts are provided on all training programmes. Participants complete a course evaluation form to determine the suitability and effectiveness of the course. Details of their responses are made available to the client.
